Project Goals: 

The Ecosystem Sciences Foundation, with Tinker Foundation support, will create a local and reliable source of funding for watershed conservation in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The project will consist of surveying water users’ willingness to develop and implement payment environmental system models (PSEs), wherein these users pay individual or communal land holders to maintain existing forest cover in watersheds with problems of water scarcity.
