Project Goals: 

This grant supports the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella’s efforts to improve economic policy making through better understanding of the relationship between macroeconomic policy and pricing decisions. Through conducting research on the dynamics of price behavior in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay using new microeconomic datasets; presenting results at an international conference, professional meetings for policy makers and academic seminars; and publishing findings in refereed journals, on the Web and in newspaper articles the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella will be able to create a better understanding of the ways in which pricing reacts to macroeconomic disturbances.
