Project Goals: 

This grant will enable the organization to bolster its organizational capacity for research, professional development and outreach in order to improve teaching practices and increase student learning within and beyond participating schools. A newly hired Director of Research will identify best teaching practices at the local level in Peru and integrate these into EnsenaPeru's methodology. He or she will also develop a system for gathering and analyzing data on student achievement,  teachers' experiences and the implementation of the newly developed teaching model. The results will enable the organization to document and demonstrate the program's impact and to better understand how to modify the approach to training, supervising and supporting teachers.
