Project Goals: 

To develop market-based mechanisms that ensure water quality and quantity while maximizing investment in conservation within Mexico. These mechanisms provide economic incentives in the form of payment for stewardship of important water resources. The Fund will engage water users and stewards to establish a feasible payment for ecosystem service mechanisms through participatory, collaborative processes and a series of outreach campaigns.
