Project Goals:

Asociación por los Derechos Civiles (ADC) has become widely recognized for its expertise on the functioning of the Argentine judiciary and for its leadership in promoting reforms to increase the independence, transparency and efficiency of national and provincial courts.  Despite some recent successes, equal access to fair and impartial justice is compromised by various factors that affect judicial institutions, particularly political interference.  Through focused research of judicial voting patterns, relevant legislation and political influence, ADC will prepare and propose reforms to increase judicial independence and transparency, and improve access to justice for under-represented communities and NGOs.
