Dr. Kathleen Waldron has extensive experience in higher education and international banking. She was most recently president of William Paterson University, where she served with distinction for eight years. Prior to that, she was president of Baruch College of the City University of New York and dean of the College of Business at Long Island University. She was a Fulbright Fellow in Venezuela, teaching at the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello. Before transitioning to higher education administration, Kathy worked at Citibank where she directed strategic planning for the Global Private Bank and was president of Citibank International in Miami.
Kathy is a frequent speaker on issues of diversity in higher education and women in leadership. Her affiliations have included the boards of the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, the New Jersey Association of Colleges and Universities, the Fulbright Association, and Accion International.
